Our little minishop is now open several days a week! Our hours are:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 12-7pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 12 – 4pm
Please note that the minishop will not be open November 21-25, and December 22-Jan 2
We have about 400+ cuts of second-hand fabric and notions available for sale, including thread, interfacing, zippers, bias tape, hem tape, seam binding and more. We give a portion of all fabric scales to Scrap DC, a our non-profit partner in this endeavor, so you’re recycling and supporting a great organization at the same time.
The minishop isn’t very big, but there are fun treasures, and it’s educational! We’ve labeled fabrics and notions to explain what things are and what they’re used for, so you can learn and shop at the same time. Here is an overview of our inventory and prices:
Fabrics: $3.00/yd
- Cotton and poly-cotton blends (lightweight, quilting weight, medium, and heavy weights)
- Rayon (mostly prints)
- Linen
- Fleece
- Flannel
- Velour
- Wool and wool blends
- Upholstery fabrics
- Vinyl (typically one yard cuts)
Zippers are $1.00-$1.50
Thread is $0.75/spool
Buttons $0.25/each
Hem tape/seam tape: $1.00/package
Bias Tape: $1.00/package
Twill tape: $1.00/package

Please note that because most of the fabrics are in 1-3 yard pieces, and we sell the whole piece rather cut it, unless we have more than 3 yards.
