Have a young one who’s an aspiring seamstress or fashion designer? Channel their enthusiasm with this beginner class. This class is geared toward young sewers, ages 7-12. No prior experience is necessary.
HOW IT WORKS
If this is your child’s first time sewing on a machine, please contact us beforehand so that we can make sure he or she will get special instruction on safe machine operation at the class. In some cases, we may recommend scheduling a private tutorial before the class.
In the beginner classes, kids will be introduced to the fundamentals of safely using a sewing machine to bring their creations to life! They will learn about the parts and functions of a sewing machine, how to use a pattern and but fabric, and basic sewing techniques to make things they can use and wear. Kids can choose from fun projects such as pillows, simple skirts, pajamas, totebags, and other easy-to-make items. Enroll in just single class, or purchase a package of classes for reduced rates.
